Diversity of the organisms in the Prunus persicae L. leaves in two agroecosystems
Abstract
The production of peach (Prunus persica L.) in Cuba has been little studied, as it is not a crop in high demand by the population, its potential as fresh or industrialized fruit is not used, producers do not prioritize this crop, allowing organisms to noxious attack it. The research was carried out in the municipality of Alquízar, Artemisa province, in two agroecological agroecosystems of peach trees (field 1 and field 2) with the objective of evaluating the diversity of harmful and beneficial organisms that are present in the leaves. For this, biweekly samplings were carried out for a year, for the identification of the organisms the composition of species and the structure of the community of these were determined. Alpha diversity indices were calculated for two periods and a field of peach trees lost due to the influence of harmful organisms was recovered.
