This paper presents the impact showed by institutional factors (Institutional identity, teachers, study plans among others), embodied by PEP, upon the academic competences acquired by students in the Public Technical and Technological Institutions (ITT) in the Colombian Caribbean Coast, evaluated in the Saber-Pro generic tests, correlating them with the scores obtained by them in the Saber 11 assessments, and in their admission exams. This way, it was intended to identify which associations existed among the mentioned variables, in relation with the education standards in the aforementioned institutions, and their responsibility before the Colombian Higher Education Assurance System.Downloads
